Some might say that over the past few years the music industry has been inundated with the same old band singing to the same old beat, now music fans from all over the country are looking for the next big thing to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Oasis.
That’s where Terracotta Army come in, have no doubt that this band, who have already stirred up interest from music’s big wigs, are ready to take the UK by storm.
Following massive success collectively, these five talented musicians have formed an alliance that are ready to create a stir not only nationally but internationally.
Having already re-mixed for bands such as The Arctic Monkeys and U2, they have an impressive catalogue of seven UK chart hits, most recently for ‘band of the moment’, Kasabian.
Through expertise production and years of industry knowledge, the band, which formed in 2008 have already created their own trademark of a unique indie/ electronica sound which is rarely heard of in any current UK artist and has gathered them an already massive following across the country.
In 2009 the band secured and successfully hit the road with their ‘Armoured’ tour, seeing them blow audiences away on over 45 gigs nationwide and are now in demand for a tour towards the end of the year.
Recently joining the band is new lead singer, Olly Hawthorne, who has the charisma only the likes of Ashcroft or Gallagher can match, making him a must for any band wanting to hit the big time.
Only with the joined talents of band members Mick Park, Nic Britton, Mike Painter, Chris "Wiggy" Wiggins and Kevin McGee, can this Army of talent take on the industry and by 2011, have no reservations, Terracotta Army will be a household name. Watch this Space.
